The series takes place 70 years after the conclusion of 'Avatar' and follows the next Avatar in the cycle: Korra, a brash and sometimes overconfident 17-year-old from the Southern Water Tribe. What is clear, however, are the lasting impacts that both series had on the animation landscape.
